About AlphaOmega Foundation

The AlphaOmega Foundation, a public benefit and trustee status foundation, was created in 2010 by Maurice Tchenio, co-founder of Apax Partners. Its mission is to help disadvantaged children and young people in France to become financially independent through education and access to employment.

It provides long-term support to successful charities that work with disadvantaged young people according to the principles of Venture Philanthropy, by providing both financial support and management support (strategy, marketing, financing…) to increase their social impact and boost their development. Since its creation, the Foundation has supported 5 structures: Babyloan (from 2011 to 2014), the Association Coup de Pouce (since 2012), the Réseau des Ecoles de la 2e Chance (since 2013), Entreprendre pour Apprendre (since 2014) and AFEV (since 2015). In addition, AlphaOmega intends to become an expert on the issues affecting disadvantaged children and young people, in order to advocate the cause to the public authorities.
