Stone Soup consulting awards Research in Social Innovation
The winner of the Stone Soup Award for Research in Social Innovation was announced at the beginning of this month – he is Ricardo Zozimo, PhD student and entrepreneurship tutor at Lancaster University in the UK. His research project – titled “Entrepreneurial learning: Using observational learning to innovate ” – aims to understand how entrepreneurs learn from observation and how that translates into innovation. Cláudia Pedra, Stone Soup Consulting co-founder and managing partner, emphasises that “the research is a totally innovative contribution to understanding the way entrepreneurs learn and can consequently be taught and motivated”.
The award recognises a research project that identifies strategies and actions linked to social innovation. The aim is to foster systemic improvements in innovation theory and practice, and to encourage students and professionals to work in the field of entrepreneurship and social innovation and contribute to enhancing the long-term impact of social change initiatives.
