EVPA’s 7th EU Webinar took place on the 21st of June 2016.
The European social impact investing market is largely led by philanthropists, foundations and other specialised institutional investors, both private and public. However, the wider public is increasingly willing to support activities benefiting society. In such a context, a range of initiatives now contribute to driving mass participation into the market, making it more participatory. Building on the success of EVPA’s EU webinar on crowdfunding, our following online session focused on three key retail social investment models in the UK, France, and Italy.
The PowerPoint presentation of this webinar can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
How can impact investing become more democratic? Which models of retail social investment exist in Europe? How are they implemented in different socio-cultural and regulatory contexts? Can those mechanisms be replicated?
These and other questions were at the core of EVPA’s 7th EU Webinar on “Ordinary People as Social Impact Investors – Exploring Emerging Retail Models”.
