About Karen E. Wilson
Karen is the founder of GV Partners, a research and consulting firm focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and finance.
She has worked with start-ups, venture capital and private equity firms, academic institutions and international organisations, including the OECD where she has written books and policy papers on angel investment, venture capital and impact investment. Karen is also a Senior Fellow at Bruegel, an international economics think tank based in Brussels, an Associate Fellow at Said Business School at Oxford University and a Visiting Lecturer at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
She is a Board Member and Advisor of the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER), and serves on the European Commission DG CONNECT Advisory Forum. She is also a member of the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA) Policy Committee.
She received, with honors, a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
