Karen founded GV Partners in 2004, a firm working with both start-ups and initiatives to facilitate the development of a broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. She has authored many papers on finance, policy and entrepreneurship education, including a recent book focused on angel investing for the OECD (www.oecd.org/sti/angelinvestors). She is continuing work with the OECD focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Kauffman Foundation, a Board Member and Advisor of the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER) and a member of the European Leadership Council for Harvard Business School.

After his graduate studies and postgraduate research in development economics and international trade policy, Levent started his career as a business intelligence and planning consultant in ICT industry in 2000. Following the dot.com crisis, he moved to the CRM industry and worked in business process outsourcing projects across EMEA and emerging markets. Inspired by the rise of the third sector and social entreprises, he has founded in 2007 his own company BECAUSE (http://www.be-cause.be) to focus on moving non-profit associations and charities to the cloud, in partnership with the Salesforce Foundation (http://www.salesforcefoundation.org).
Keith Baldock is a journalist, editor and designer with experience of regional and daily newspapers and magazines in the UK, Greece, South Africa and Hong Kong. More recently he has focused on financial publications and is currently a production editor on contract to Dow Jones, with particular responsibility for Private Equity News.
