Social Impact Measurement and Management Online Course

Social Impact Measurement and Management Online Course April 2020

Important message: Due to COVID-19, this course will take place virtually instead of in person. See below for more information about the format, dates and prices. If you have questions please get in touch.

EVPA and Social Value UK will use their in-depth knowledge of the practice of social impact measurement and management to help you learn how to maximize the impact you are generating. Due to physical and travel restrictions related to COVID-19, we have adapted this training to a virtual course. This solution should also provide an alternative to participants who had already registered.

The start date of the course will remain the same, April 23 and will begin with a 2-hour live session from 10:00 - 12:00 (CEST). After this introductory session, you will gain access to EVPA's Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS will support participants to utilise the training by providing readings and assignments for a maximum of 2 hours a week, for four weeks. This will be accompanied by three more live sessions of 2-hours each at the same time: 10:00 - 12:00 (CEST) on April 30, May 7 and May 14. We will do our best to foster the most interactive and engaging online training, so you can get the most out of this learning experience. EVPA is happy to offer all participants a 50% discount on the training fee for this first online edition!

This course is especially designed to support investors for impact, both foundations, social impact funds and other types of capital providers, in understanding how to measure and manage impact at the portfolio level.

If you are interested in:

  • understanding and measuring the impact you generate
  • improving your existing impact measurement system without burdening too much your investees/grantees
  • learning how to use the data you collect to take relevant decisions on your day-to-day activity and maximize the use of your resources

and you want to do it by:

  • learning through real-life case studies and group work
  • discussing openly with experienced practitioners
  • sharing challenges and learnings with your peers

then the Social Impact Measurement and Management Training is the course for you!

Save the dates of the virtual live sessions in your calendar:

23 April, 30 April, 7 May, 14 May: 10:00 to 12:00 (CEST)
