This webinar followed the launch of the Spanish and Portuguese translations by LatImpacto of EVPA’s report “A Practical Guide to Venture Philanthropy and Social Impact Investment”. During this webinar, two European and two Latin American investors for impact showcased how to achieve social impact by applying the venture philanthropy approach in practice. Participants had then the opportunity to engage in the conversation and ask questions to the speakers.

Alessia Gianoncelli - EVPA
Alessia Gianoncelli is Head of the Knowledge Centre at EVPA, where she is responsible for research activities, content development and data collection. She also leads the EVPA initiative “Foundations Along the Spectrum of Capital” in collaboration with the European Foundation Centre (EFC), and is EVPA’s liaison with the International Venture Philanthropy Center (IVPC) to strengthen the social impact ecosystem in Latin America and Africa.
Pedro Castillo - Promotora Social Mexico
Pedro is an industrial engineer focused on strategic partnerships, fundraising, corporate affairs and government relations. His career has been developed mainly in Civil Society Organizations such as Telethon Foundation México and Un Kilo de Ayuda in the development of early childhood.
Olivier de Guerre - PhiTrust
Mr. Olivier de Guerre serves as President at PhiTrust, which he founded in 2003 and which developed two impact investment strategy: PhiTrust Partenaires SAS social Investment fund created in 2006 and Sicav Proxy Active Investors France which engages towards large caps for more ESG impact.
Natália Leme - Arymax Foundation, Brazil
Natália Di Ciero Leme is responsible for strategic partnerships and programs at Arymax Foundation. In her career, she worked at departments of social responsibility and sustainability of companies and social organizations and helped in the design and definition of the strategy of different Institutes and Foundations. She graduated in Public Relations from UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista), with specialization in sustainability and institutional development from FIA (Fundação Instituto de Administração) and master in Global Affairs from New York University.
Pieter Oostlander is the founder of shærpa and was appointed Fund Manager when SI² Fund and shærpa merged in 2015. Pieter has been active in the social investment sector since 2004.
