The social and solidarity economy, of which social investors, social enterprises and social associations are key stakeholders, has proved to be fundamental in building a more equitable and sustainable society, and is paramount to the inclusivity of the green and digital transitions, as well as the recovery from the pandemic. The future Social Economy Action Plan aims to further integrate the social economy into the actions of the EU and to provide an overview of the policy initiatives that are needed to develop the ecosystem.

During this webinar, policy-makers from the European Commission will together with social investors analyse the policy priorities and challenges to be accounted for by the plan, discuss opportunities for collaboration and EU funding, and share best practices.

The action plan will be released towards the end of 2021 and will be the result of all input provided by stakeholders, and contribute to building a more social and sustainable European Union. Make your voice heard in the design of the action plan and join the discussion on June 24!
