Important message: Due to COVID-19, this course will take place virtually instead of in person. See below for more information about the format, dates and prices. If you have questions please get in touch.

EVPA together with France Active, Ferd Social Entrepreneurs and IKARE Ltd have adapted this training to a virtual course in order to respect the physical and travel restrictions related to COVID-19. This solution will also provide an alternative to participants who had already registered.

This training on tailored financing for social impact is the perfect match for all those interested in deepening their understanding of the strategies that investors for impact use to design financial instrument(s) and support social purpose organisation (SPO) in the best way.

The start date of the course will remain the same, on May 28 there will be the first of three 2-hour interactive live sessions that will take place from 09:00 to 12:00 (CEST). The other two will be on June 3 and June 11, at the same time.

The live sessions will be based on case studies from our speakers and interactive working groups: experienced investors for impact and seasoned EVPA members will share their experience with participants while the EVPA Training and Research Team will assure support in facilitating the groups within the virtual break-out rooms. Participants will prepare their training thanks to the EVPA's Learning Management System (LMS) that will provide readings and assignments for a maximum of 2 hours a week, for three weeks. We will do our best to foster the most interactive and engaging online training, so you can get the most out of this learning experience. EVPA is happy to offer all participants a 50% discount on the training fee for this first online edition!

If you are interested in learning how to choose the most suitable financial instrument(s) to support a social purpose organisation (SPO) in a more efficient way, then this is the perfect course for your needs. This training programme is developed with France Active, Ferd Social Entrepreneurs and IKARE Ltd. The course is based on the “Financing for Social Impact: The key role of Tailored Financing and Hybrid Finance” report, portraying how tailored financing can lead to more sustainable and stronger SPOs.

If you are interested in:

  • getting a better understanding of the financial instruments (FIs) - grants, debt, equity - available to fund SPOs
  • acquiring practical knowledge on how to use them to match your goals as an investor for impact with the needs of SPOs
  • learning how to tailor the financial support you provide to maximise the social impact generated
  • meeting practitioners with plenty of experience in the sector who will present real-life case studies in an active and dynamic manner to enhance your learning.

then the Financing for Social Impact Training is the right course for you!
