High engagement and the provision of non-financial support are perhaps the main distinguishing features of venture philanthropy. How are these things achieved when the investee is in another country, or even on another continent?
This report addresses these questions through the experience of a number of EVPA member organisations with international investments and asks how they managed them, what problems they encountered and what were the main lessons they learned from them.
The organisations featured include Fondation Demeter in France, IKARE in the UK, LGT Venture Philanthropy in Switzerland and The One Foundation in Ireland.
