Zagoriy Foundation

Their mission is to develop the culture of giving. They promote the culture of patronage and philanthropy in Ukraine. They are achieve this by grantmaking activities, capacity building, promoting institutional philanthropy, developing of philanthropy community, supporting education institutions and cultural heritage. Zagoriy Foundation acts as a role model for implementing sustainable charitable activities in Ukraine. Generally, their work is devoted to creating a public perception of the professional third sector in Ukraine with a large institutional capacity.

Their vision - everyone in Ukraine practices charity consciously and systematically.

In 2021 they gave grants to 50 charities and nonprofits and implemented over 10 projects in partnership with nonprofits and businesses.

Furthermore, they are the only charitable organization that conducts social research about charity in Ukraine. Also, they have recently launched the first media about charity in Ukraine - Media of Great Stories. They want to share the thought that charity should be available foreveryone. Therefore, they implement communications campaigns and create materials for the mass audience - news and trends, podcast and analytical articles, and interviews and experts' opinions.

This year they have launched an innovative educational program Charity Match. It is aimed to increase the ability of 70 nonprofit organizations to create more effective and efficient fundraising campaigns.

In 2018, their Foundation initiated #GivingTuesday in Ukraine - the all-Ukrainian day of good deeds, where they provided organizational and promotional support for the movement. Now they lead the initiative and are proud that over 126 000 Ukrainians have already joined this charitable movement.
