Ada Chirapaisarnkul


Thai Young Philanthropist Network

Ada Chirapaisarnkul is a pioneer of social entrepreneurship and social investment movement in Thailand. She is currently a Board Director of Khonthai Foundation, Founder and Managing Director of Thai Young Philanthropist Network (TYPN) and Philanthropy Advisory Lead of ChangeVentures.

Prior, she was a Professor and co-founding executive director of G-Lab, Social Innovation Lab at Thammasat University, and Assistant Vice President in corporate strategy at Government Housing Bank. In 2010, Ada was a Deputy Secretariat of the Sub-Committee on Social Finance under the National Committee on Social Enterprise Promotion, chaired by the Prime Minister; and a project manager at the Office of the Prime Minister, leading a multi-sectoral team to develop the first Masterplan for social enterprise promotion in Thailand.

Ada holds MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London, MIA in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University and BA (Honors) in Economics from Thammasat University. She is the Rockefeller Foundation Global Fellow on Social Innovation, Asia 21 Young Leader of the Asia Society, One Young World Ambassador and a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum.
