Gian Paolo Barbetta

His research is focused on:

1) the nonprofit sector, with particolar attention to its role in the Italian welfare system and its impact on efficiency in service provision;

2) the role of grant-making foundations in supporting the nonprofit sector and in testing new policies;

3) impact analysis of public and private policies, with particular attention to education and the social services.

His professional work at the Cariplo Foundations is focused on the definition and implementation of methods that allow measuring the impact of the Foundation's programs and initiatives.
