Jorgos Papadakis

Jorgos joined EVPA in August 2019 as Marketing and Communications Director. He brings in more than 20 years expertise in journalism, public relations, marketing, branding, internal and external communications.

His assignments include managerial positions at UNDP, the European Free Alliance-European Political Party, PR agencies and private corporations in Greece, the Balkans and beyond. He was also the Director of the Balkan Youth Foundation, a regional non-governmental organization focusing on youth empowerment through social investment in the region of South East Europe.

Jorgos has worked for various national, regional and European media outlets, including the BBC and the Austrian Press Agency. He is an Extraordinary Fellow at the University of Vienna (Institute for Communication Science) and also holds a degree in Print & Digital Media from the London School of Journalism.
