About Katherine Danton

Katharine Danton is the Director of Strategy and Influence at UnLtd, responsible for shaping and now delivering UnLtd’s strategy to help social entrepreneurship break through into the mainstream.

Alongside leading on insight, advocacy and influencing, Katharine is working with the Global Social Entrepreneurship Network to develop a thriving ecosystem of support for early stage social entrepreneurs in the UK and internationally.

Katharine has worked with charities, government and academic institutions including Crisis UK, The Prince’s Trust, The School Food Trust and UNESCO. Passionate about how people can fulfil their potential, she started her career looking at young people’s resilience to overcome disadvantage at Cambridge University. She is now a trustee of Switchback, a small dynamic charity working with young offenders to turn their lives around. This passion has turned into a broader desire to ensure we develop leadership from all parts of society to deliver sustainable social change.
