Paul Carttar

Paul Carttar is an independent consultant as well as senior advisor to and co-founder of The Bridgespan Group.

He recently served as the initial director of the Social Innovation Fund (SIF), a program that has mobilized more than $750 million in public and private funds to grow promising nonprofits with evidence of impact in the US.

Prior to the SIF, Carttar was an executive partner with New Profit, Inc. and chief program officer for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. He also spent several years with Bain & Company and held executive positions in two venture-capital funded companies.
