Stefan Maard

Stefan is the Managing Director of DIVA Ventures L3C: a not-for-profit company that forms joint ventures with large corporations to create impact at scale based on their existing technologies, products, and services.

Concurrently, Stefan is transitioning out of his role as Head of Sustainable Business Development at Novozymes, where he leads a team that pursues high-impact business opportunities through innovative partnerships. One such partnership is DIVA, where Novozymes is a co-founder and investor.

Prior to joining Novozymes in 2006, Stefan worked with UNDP in Guyana - helping businesses in the region develop profitable solutions to poverty reduction. Stefan holds a MPhil in Development Studies from Cambridge and a MSc in Business Administration and Philosophy from Copenhagen Business School.
