The Bertelsmann Stiftung is one of the largest private operating non-profit foundations in Germany, created in 1977 by Reinhard Mohn. Bertelsmann is active in social, economic, educational, cultural and health-related issues.

The Bertelsmann Stiftung currently employs 331 people and has a budget of approximately €60 million. Since its inception, it has made €868 million available for its charitable activities.

The Bertelsmann Stiftung are supporters of the EVPA Corporate Initiative.
