Investing for Impact Across The Investment Journey – Practical Cases from Latin America and Europe

Latimpacto launched the Spanish and Portuguese translations of the EVPA “Investing for Impact Toolkit”. This toolkit is a hands-on guide not just for practitioners entering the impact ecosystem, but also for those who would like to become more efficient in adopting the principles of the EVPA Charter of Investors for Impact.

EVPA and Latimpacto co-hosted a free webinar to present the translated toolkit and to show how investors for impact from Latin America and Europe set up organisations investing for impact, define their investment strategies and manage the investment process.

The webinar took place on Tuesday, 11th May at 15.30-17.00 (CEST, Brussels time), 8.30-10.00 (Colombia, Perú, México time), 9.30-11.00 (Chile time), 10.30-12.00 (Argentina, Brazil time).

Santiago has more than 15 years of experience in investments, including 10 years dedicated to investments in emerging countries and impact investments in Latin America and Africa. Additionally, Santiago has an extensive experience in management consulting, as well as in entrepreneurship.

Wouter Vandersypen

Wouter Vandersypen - Kampani

Wouter Vandersypen is the executive director of Kampani, an impact first investment fund. Kampani provides patient growth capital for capex heavy investments to smallholder farmer cooperatives or SMEs in selected countries in the Global South.

Carolina Suárez

Carolina Suárez - LatImpacto

Carolina is CEO of LatImpacto, the Latin America Venture Philanthropy Network, a regional community of social investors that connects and mobilizes capital (human, intellectual, and financial) committed to achieving the most significant social and environmental impact.

Arnau Picón Martínez

Arnau Picón Martínez - EVPA

Arnau Picón is Research Associate at EVPA in February 2019. He holds a Msc in Economic Development from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
