Sparknews

Aged 24, this engineer embarked in 1998 on a "world tour of hope", in order to encounter those who are truly changing the world. The book published from this experience became a best-seller, convincing him that positive information deserves to be shared.

After several years of strategic consulting and change management, he started his social enterprise (Sparknews, 15 people) to source innovative solutions, showcase them in the media and connect them with the corporate world.

Sparknews have several projects like Impact Journalism Day (which federates 50 international newsrooms of top newspapers and reaches 120 million readers) and Solutions&Co with 20 economic newspapers (Financial Times, Les Echos, Handelsblatt, China Business News, etc). Through these projects, Sparknews works closely with editors in chief and contributes to foster "Solutions Journalism" in the newsrooms.

Sparknews also connects social innovations with the corporate world and Christian make conferences to top management in big companies on Leadership for Change, Positive innovation, Making opportunities out of constraints...Sparknews is a social business, Investir&+ (Impact investing fund) is their investor and works with companies such as AXA, Danone, L'oréal, Total, Suez, Adidas, BNP-Paribas...

Christian is an Ashoka fellow since 2014 and is newly based in London to develop new partnerships.
